Tongkat ali extract production process

By Serge Kreutz

Our tongkat ali extract production starts with the collection of the roots. While we are in the process of establishing a 10-hectare plantation for growing eurycoma longifolia (tongkat ali) shrubs, our current raw material is all collected in the wild. Collection is tiresome because eurycoma longifolia roots grow mostly vertical into the ground, and they do so for up to two meters. For each root that is to be harvested, an individual hole has to be dug: roots cannot just be pulled out of the soil.

All our roots are collected by cooperatives of indigenous tribal people who have a so-called adat right on the forests where they collect tongkat ali roots. Adat forests are traditionally owned by whole tribal communities, not by individuals or corporations. None of our roots are collected by commercial enterprises in the modern sense.

In traditional forests where the tongkat ali roots are collected, no pesticides are used whatsoever, and there is also no industrial pollution. The nearest town is at least 50 kilometers away from the areas where our roots are collected. For this reason, the soil where our tongkat ali roots are collected carries virtually no load of industrial pollutants.

For the production of our tongkat ali extract, only roots are used. While the same glyco-proteins that form the active ingredients of tongkat ali roots are also found in the stem, branches, and even the leaves of the shrub, the concentration of active ingredients is by far the highest in the root, especially in roots of shrubs older than 5 years. In traditional Indonesian and Southeast Asian medicine, only the roots of the eurycoma longifolia shrub are used.

After the roots are collected, they are brought over a distance of about 1000 kilometers (Sumatra is a very large island) to our storage facilities in Medan, North Sumatra.

In Medan, all roots are washed and then dried for about a month. Roots are then chipped, using specialized electric equipment.

The chipped roots are soaked in water for 48 hours and than repeatedly heated for about 15 minutes. No chemicals whatsoever are added. (The traditional Indonesian way of preparing tongkat ali is to boil about 50 gram of chipped root for 30 to 60 minutes, and then drink the water after it has cooled down. Thus, in traditional medicine, only the water-soluble parts of the tongkat ali roots are used, and a single dose needs about 50 gram of root.)

Continuing our production process, the chipped roots are removed and the soak water is evaporated in a process that takes about 72 hours. Evaporation is intensified during the end phase of this process to guard against the development of molds.

The evaporator produces crystal-dry flakes which are then milled. The milled powder is highly hydrophilic and therefore stored in air-tied containers.

Powerful testosterone boosters can have profound effects on some individuals

By Serge Kreutz

Tongkat ali and butea superba are both testosterone boosters. As such they also elevate dopamine, an important brain neurotransmitter.

On some people, such substances can have profound effects, and some people may even be allergic.

I myself sell the tongkat ali and butea superba extracts of Sumatra Pasak Bumi (tongkatali.org). They have an excellent safety record, with no known major adverse event. If it would be different, I would not sell them.

Nevertheless, I can only advise people to be careful. Of any supplement you buy, professional conventional wisdom is that you take a minimal dosage first as an allergy test.

A minimal dosage could be a quarter of a tablet of which you are advised to take two twice a day.

Allergic reactions are unpredictable, especially for plant extracts, or, more scientifically, phytochemicals.

I know people who are allergic to bananas, and I know people who are allergic to sauerkraut, and people who are allergic to citrus food.

A classic allergic reaction is fast. It often involves the release of histamine, which causes visible symptoms like a runny nose or watery eyes. But a wide array of other fast reactions is possible.

Many pharmaceuticals cause allergic reactions, and the same tendency exists for natural phytochemicals. Be smart... do an allergy test with about as little a quantity as a pinch of salt that you would sprinkle over a fried egg. If you are allergic in a classical sense, you will feel it quickly. And if you are not allergic, simply nothing will happen.

A profound reaction is different from an allergic reaction. Some medications and botanicals are tolerated well by some people, and have extreme effects on others. That's how different we all are.

I myself tolerate tongkat ali and butea superba well. I have a very low tolerance for yohimbe. Even a quarter of a single yohimbe capsule causes me a worrisome tachycardia, and I will not be able to sleep for more than 30 hours after ingesting such a small dosage of yohimbe. But two of my friends sleep just normal after more than double standard dosages (4 yohimbe capsules). They can take ten times more than me, and are not punished with any ill effects.

Tongkatali.org's Youth instead of immortality

By Serge Kreutz

While we are far from engineering immortality, we do, indeed, already have the technology to engineer youth, primarily through cosmetic surgery.

In practical terms, it means that if we, men and women, have a realistic chance to look 30, even when we are double that age, then we will have a completely different perspective in life.

If we cannot appear to be the same age as our 30-year old competitors, we will favor a world in which the relationships market value of younger people is restricted, so that our own value will not diminish too far.

But if we have a realistic chance to maintain a sexually appealing appearance even beyond the fault line at which we would traditionally be viewed as goners, we can favor a world in which the value of older people does not have to be enhanced artificially.

Medical technology has indeed reached a stage at which it is a realistic perspective to maintain an appearance as if we were 30 to well double the age. The key really is cosmetic surgery. Which is why cosmetic surgery has a philosophical, even metaphysical dimension.

Tongkatali.org's integrated male relationships success

By Serge Kreutz

Tongkatali.org provides an integrated service for male success, with a focus on East and Southeast Asia. Male success has a lot to do with male sexual success. Tongkatali.org sells sexuality-enhancing herbals with a proven scientific track record. This is our core operation.

But apart from that, Tongkatali.org is dedicated to the sexual success of our customers on a much wider scope.

Tongkatali.org, for example, offers consultation to customers on dental work and cosmetic surgery in Southeast Asia. This service is free for our customers, and can save them a lot of money and protect them from some bad experiences as well.

We often refer to our customers as members. For more than a decade, we have run formal memberships via sergekreutz.com. There were sexual function memberships and sexual opportunities memberships, both priced separately at 250 US dollars each. We have discontinued these, because there simply are too many phony consultation services around which use the same language.

As it stands now, anything related to information is free for members of Tongkatali.org (membership is automatic for those with an order history of 1000 US dollars or more for tangible items, mostly sexuality-enhancing herbals.

Some men are in lifelong exclusive sexual relationships. We respect and congratulate customers to whom this applies.

Most men are not made of such timber. Most men, and a large number of our members, have a profound interest in sexual variety.

For these men, if they are Westerners, East Asia has a lot to offer. Not only is the East Asian approach to physical relationships much more down-to-earth and open to negotiations. The age of men is also of much less relevance, if of any.

Tongkatali.org and Serge Kreutz started out in the early 1980s (around 40 years ago!) with travel guides on Southeast Asia. Unlike standard travel guides, these travel guides already did cover physical relationships. Travel guides nowadays never touch this topic.

Little has changed in Asia in 40 years. Of course, there are better roads, and now there is Internet. And immigration has become more complicated. But the mentality of the people up-country has changed amazingly little.

For members, Tongkatali.org provides free lifestyle advice, tailored for Western men considering moving to East Asia to achieve better physical relationships.

There is more. Tongkatali.org also trades domain names, and our members can rent unique motorhomes designed for Southeast Asian weather and infrastructure. These motorhomes are suited for couples or families going for extended holidays in Southeast Asia, and also for unattached men roaming isolated areas for physical adventures. Mind you: in Asia, the further away you get from modern, urban centers, the better your relationships will be.

Motorhome space

By Serge Kreutz

Space is a limited commodity with a motorhome. If you ever visited a conventional factory to see work on an ordered unit progress, you will find it really spacious before they put fittings inside. And then, when you pick it up fully furnished, the space is gone. And then you start banging your head on overhead cabinets, and your shins on corners of convertible benches. Conventional motorhome manufacturers usually emphasize a siting room set that can be converted into a bedding, and then they seat a family with two kids there. That’s all good for photos, but extremely unpractical. It may work for weekend excursions, but being crammed on so little space probably leads to arguments, and on Sunday afternoon, everybody is glad to be home.

Wigwam motorhome

We do not install any fixed furniture. Our units are boxes with many high windows and with a vertical clearance of 2 meters throughout. Users put removable furnishings inside as they need them. Because requirements change, and there is no point of bringing things along that are not needed in the immediate future.
